Modelled here by my teddy bear.

Here is a look at my yarn stash. What will I decide to create next???

I saw You, Me & Dupree today. If you like Owen Wilson, you will love it. And as much as I don't want to like her, Kate Hudson is really good it in also. Michael Douglas was also in the movie playing an overprotective father - funny to see him in that role.
Dr. Phil had a show about online dating and I actually changed my mind from thinking it was totally crazy concept to seeing that it could be a powerful tool. And it also reminded me how grateful I am to be married! This is just one example of how liberating it is to be a person who can change her mind!
For anyone who has cable, there are 2 new favorite shows this summer (well they aren't necessarily new, but new TO ME). First is Project Runway on Bravo. Hillarious crazy designers. Like the Apprentice for the fashion world. The second show is called Namaste Yoga on FitTV - an awesome 30 minute gentle yin-yoga show. My guilty summer pleasures are Last Comic Standing and Rock-star Supernova. What did we possibly do before reality tv?
I'm just finished A Wedding in December which was ok and I am currently working on Reading Lolita in Tehran. It's a little slow starting... but shows promise.
My mom comes for her summer visit this week. And it's only 115 degrees outside and our air conditioner has been acting up. Eeek! It's always fun to have her visit because we shop, watch movies, eat out and relax.
