My tour of the midwest

I haven't had to travel much for work in a few years. Lucky me to inherit a product line at work that isn't doing very well so I have started a marketing campaign to energize sales. This involved visiting all of our regional sales offices to train our people how to best position and sell these products.

Monday - Flew to St. Louis, lots of rain, had a lovely dinner with my cousin Chris and his wife Thetis. Got to meet their huge puppy Macy, a golden doodle.

Tuesday - Flew to Minneapolis, highligts included driving by Prince's studio Paisley Park and sleet/snow/rain. What is it about the mid-west and so much parcipitation? Hard to have a good hair day.

Wednesday - Now to Milwaukee, actually I think my first time to Wisonsin at all, there actually was a place called the "Cheese Castle", nice. Nothing wrong with a state known for cheese & beer.

Thursday - Chicago, the windy city, the nicest weather I've seen all week. Still cold, but at leat the grey dome broke to see a little sunshine. Starting to really miss my bed.

Friday - back to Phoenix. Yeah!! Landed around 8pm and got to see my favorite guys - Ben & Gus.

Saturday - knitting lesson in the morning (finally learned alternate ways to cast on and bind off) and another wedding in the afternoon at the San Marcos.

Today? Relax, catch up on errands & Vikings football!

A cheese castle! That sounds like heaven.
