Last week I got to spend a fabulous evening with my girlfriends. Talk ranged from knitting to travels to beer to kids to purses to boys to politics. It was a perfect evening at a very fun Irish Pub - just in time for St. Patty's Day! We got to inspect Cindy's new bag which is just perfect. And it was great to meet Kelly's new guy - he passes the 'purse party' bravery test by showing up with all of us girls around. Fun to hear about Veronique's amazing trip to Malaysia and parasailing adventures. Also great to have Cara there now that she has graduated from "new friend" status! I always come home feeling rejuvinated and inspired after a visit with my girlfriends.My friends Amy & Nicole both caught the bug and decided to start a blog. It's contagious - anyone else out there ready to join the fun?? It's such a fun way to keep in touch and I'm totally excited to keep up with Amy's adventures with motherhood and Nicole's newlywed bliss and trips to Cabo and Chicago!!

Okay I've done it. Actually I did it a while ago but haven't told anyone. For some reason I'm intimidated by blogging. I feel like I don't want to start something that I might let others down with because I get so busy that I don't blog - or what if I don't prove to myself that I can keep it up? I've never been a long-term journaler. I'm the type that takes it for granted when I feel down and then throw it to the way side. I am going to commit to my blog. Wow! This is so cool. I love all the blogs. It's so fun to sit back and catch up with all my friends. I'm waiting for a plane (which has just been delayed) and I'm having the time of my life catching up with all the new blogs!! I love it.
