High Tea

I had a relaxing weekend including a pedicure, eating out at two of my favorite places Blue Adobe and Oreganos, catching up with my TiVo, sitting out by the pool in my comfy chair, and a fun day with some of my favorite ladies. I feel so lucky.

Sunday, my Soroptimist Club had a Tribute to Women Tea - two of my special guests won spectacular gift baskets in our charity raffle! It was nice to catch up with my Aunt Ginny and my mother-in-law Tricia. Ginny won a basket with a scrapbooking theme and Tricia's was a Mexican theme. And it was fun to have Cara and Sue there as well to talk about knitting and projects! Check out the amazing new purse Cara just finished knitting. The food was delicious and I think the earl grey tea was my favorite. A lot of the ladies were decked out in hats which was fun. I'm not sure if I have a caffeine buzz or a sugar high from all the deserts. What a fun way to work for charity.

Cara's bag is way too cool! I'm looking forward to some knitting time when I get back to Phoenix!

Is that a Valle Luna gift certificate I see in Trisha's basket? Yummy!

Love that purse! Makes me want to start back up with knitting....it has been ages since I knit. In fact, I still have your needles I borrowed a long, long time ago.
