It's really happening. We are building a house. Here are a few photos from this week.Having the slab down makes it feel more real. They are going to have the frame and walls done next week. 
Since the housing market is so slow right now they anticipate a fast build and are targeting a mid-September finish date!

Mid-September?!? We have some serious walking and wine drinking to do! I can now walk a mile without limping or pain that requires vicodin....and I'm home from tonight until Friday this week!

I really like your cement slabs. Just kidding!
I love it! But, like Kelly - I am enjoying how close you are to me right now. I second Kelly's statement about a lot more wine drinking that needs to be done while you are so close!
