So far on the trip I've finished reading "Step on a Crack" the new one by James Patterson (FUN - Amy I have a copy if you want to borrow it!) & "The Secret" (INTERESTING BUT A BIT OVER THE TOP). Last night I started "The 10th Circle" by Jodi Piccoult and so far it's very good but typical for her type of books. Last night I even watched the UK's version of the Apprentice which was funny. Sir Alan Sugar is their Donald Trump - anyone ever heard of him?Today after customer meetings we stopped at the Lovell Radio Telescope in Cheshire. Many of you know that the movie Contact with Jodi Foster & Matthew McConaughey is one of my favorites. This telescope is associated with the SETI program Project Phoenix that searches the gallaxy for extra-terrestrial life - just like Jodi did in Contact! Of course they also do a lot of "real" science work and were the first telescope to receive photographs taken from the surface of the moon when the Soviets landed there in 1966. So it was very impressive to see how huge this thing is up close. The telescope can be moved on 2 separate axis - both side to side and it is on a circular track on the ground that can move as the earth rotates. Took over half an hour just to walk around the base.
I head into London tomorrow night and online I found a killer yarn store called Loop that looks amazing. Now, back to work!
